Two Jonesville men have been arrested in connection with a storage building that was broken into on Messick Road.

Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office detectives on Wednesday arrested Jacob Kyle Dancy, 19, and Brandon Michael Wood, 20, both of Jonesville, on charges of felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering, and felony possession of stolen goods, according to a sheriff’s office release.

Police say they received a report of a break-in to a storage building on July 21 at a residence located on Messick Road in Jonesville.

During the investigation detectives received information from a neighbor of the victim leading them to the arrest of both Dancy and Wood.

The items reported stolen were recovered at the home of Dancy and Wood and returned to the owner.

Dancy was released on a $15,500 unsecured bond and Wood was released on a $20,000 unsecured bond.

Anyone who may be aware of any suspicious activity or vehicles in their communities is asked to report it to the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office.
