Leah Taylor Davis and Michael Todd Inscore exchanged vows on Sept. 29, 2012, at Fort Fisher State Park in Kure Beach. The Rev. Ricky Lee officiated.


The bride is the daughter of Fred and Pam Davis of Wilmington and granddaughter of Carol Taylor of Frederick, Md., and Mary Dillon of Fuquay-Varina. She graduated from Eugene Ashley High School in Wilmington and Cape Fear Community College in Wilmington with an associate’s degree in arts. She is enrolled at East Carolina University to earn a bachelor’s degree in business management.


The bridegroom is the son of George and Debbie Howlett of Mount Airy and Darrell and Pam Inscore of Tobaccoville, and grandson of Juanita Nichols of Mount Airy. He graduated from East Surry High School in Pilot Mountain, from Surry Community College with associate’s degrees in arts and science, from Appalachian State University with a bachelor’s degree in science, and from the University North Carolina-Wilmington with a master’s of science. He is employed at AAIPharma Services in Wilmington as an associate scientist.


The bride was given in marriage by her father.


Bethany Arnold, sister of the bride, of Wilmington, was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Carlie Porterfield of Wilmington; Misty Mathis of Wilmington; Morgan Taylor of Frederick, Md.; and Starr Simpson of Wilmington.


The ring bearers were Spencer Inscore, nephew of the groom, of Mount Airy and Andrew Simpson of Wilmington.


The best man was Craig Inscore, brother of the groom, of Pilot Mountain. The groomsmen were George Howlett, stepfather of the groom, of Mount Airy; Scott Needham of Pilot Mountain; Darren Melton of Wilmington; and Peyton Inscore, nephew of the groom, of Pilot Mountain.


Ushers were William John, cousin of the groom, of Burlington; Nick John, cousin of the groom, of Mount Airy; and Patrick Arnold, brother-in-law of the bride, of Wilmington.


Music for the ceremony was provided by Kent Knorr of the North Carolina Ukulele Academy of Wilmington and Caleb Hailey of Dallas, Texas.


The reception was provided by the bride’s parents at Fort Fisher State Park in Kure Beach.


A rehearsal dinner was provided by the groom’s parents at Havana’s Restaurant in Carolina Beach.


Following a wedding trip to Antigua in the West Indies, the couple resides in Kure Beach.
