Jonesville Police filed an investigation report April 3 concerning stolen property from a house that suffered damage during a fire March 3.

309 East End Blvd. in Jonesville is listed as the location of the theft. The house was the site of a fire last month that claimed the life of Terrie Lynn Parsons of the home. Her husband Michael Parsons was also injured in the fire.

The investigation into both incidents is ongoing.

The incident stated someone “did break and enter into a building on the curtilage of a dwelling and remove property.”

Curtilate refers to the piece of ground within the fence surrounding a house, according to the Merriam-Webster dictionary.

There is a shed located behind the house.

The crimes committed are breaking and entering and larceny, according to the report.
