Detectives with the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office made three arrests Wednesday in connection with two separate larcenies.


Brandon Allen Archer, 29; Cody Mitchell Meyer, 20; and Jesse Lee Myer, 17, all of Yadkinville, were all charged with two counts of felony larceny and two counts of obtaining property by false pretense.


The Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office received a report of larceny March 28 from a property owner on Old Highway 421 in Hamptonville. A neighbor of the victim who lives next to the property where the items were taken from witnessed the suspects loading the items in a white Dodge Caravan.


During the investigation it was discovered that the suspects sold the stolen items to a local metal scrap yard in Yadkin County.


On April 2 the Sheriff’s Office received a separate report of another larceny prom a property owner on Stinson Road in Boonville. During the investigation detectives discovered that the same suspects had stolen the property.


The suspects then sold the stolen items to a different metal scrap yard in Yadkin County.


Both Cody Mitchell Meyer and Jesse Lee Meyer received a $10,000 secured bond, while Brandon Allen Archer received a $15,000 secured bond.


All three suspects are currently being held in the Yadkin County Detention Center, according to a press release by the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office.


Detectives with the Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office urge witnesses of any suspicious vehicles or persons in your community to call 911.


The Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office has recovered several pieces of farm equipment that the owners have not been located. If you are missing any of these items please contact the Detectives Office at (336)849-7800.
