Yadkin County Sheriff’s deputies arrested four men Monday on felony charges.

The men were all residents of Yadkinville and are being held under separate $15,000 bonds at the Yadkin County Jail.

Shamus Ricky Jackson, 23; Dan Lee Chambers, 38; James Larry Reece, Jr., 42; and Steven Coy Reece, 19, were all arrested on charges of felony breaking and entering, felony larceny after breaking and entering, and second degree trespass, according to a sheriff’s office release.

The incident occurred in Boonville, where the Sheriff’s Office received a call from a property owner on Carl Road. The owner alerted deputies that he had located the four men in the act of stealing metal items on his property, according to the release.

After deputies arrived on the scene an investigation began, in which deputies found several stolen items in the back of a white Dodge van. The items were returned to their owner, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The Yadkin County Sheriff’s Office said further investigation is underway for more charges regarding metal theft.
