Willie June Largen, 90, of Sandston, joined her husband of 72 years, Jim, in Heaven on Saturday, March 16, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Moir Largen, Sr.; parents James Franklin and Leota Priscilla Smith; and infant daughter, Martha Priscilla Largen. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Fox (William) and Sandra Cowett (Phil); son, James Moir Largen, Jr. (Sue); sister, Jean Bowman of Thomasville, GA; three grandchildren, Chris Boynton, Patrick Cowett, and Ken Hubbard; five great-grandchildren, Morgan, Claire, and Luke Boynton, and Paulie and Belissa Hubbard; and several nieces and nephews. She was a faithful Christian and a member of First English Lutheran Church. The family received friends from 3-7 PM on Monday, March 18, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, VA. A service was held at 11 AM on Tuesday, March 19, at First English Lutheran Church, 1603 Monument Ave., Richmond, VA. A graveside service was held at 11 AM on Wednesday, March 20, at Gladesboro Lutheran Church, 3486 Gladesboro Rd., Hillsville, VA 24343, with visitation held one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gladesboro Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund. Online condolences may be expressed at www.nelsencares.com.
