Danny Ray Taylor, age 52 of Dobson passed away on March 20, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mr. Taylor was born in Surry County on October 13, 1960 to the late Grover Taylor and Dixie Richardson.


Mr. Taylor is survived by his loving wife, Robin Taylor of the home; children, Amanda Taylor of Yadkinville, Brandon Phillips of Dobson; brothers, Billy Taylor and wife Leann of State Road, Tim Taylor and wife Cynthia of Elkin; sisters, Judy Johnson and husband Johnny of Jonesville, Betty Childress and husband Ray of Thurmond; grandchildren, Caleb Money, Carley Money; nieces and nephews, Heather Greene, Brandy Bowers, Love Taylor, Sara Taylor, Kara Taylor, Sabra Childress, Andrew Taylor, Cory Combs, and Adam Combs.


Funeral Services will be held at 2:00p.m., Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Mt. Herman Baptist Church with Rev. James Pardue and Rev. Charlie Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 6:00-8:00p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home.


In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial be made to the Bobby Money Memorial College Fund for Carley and Caleb at Wells Fargo.
