Mrs. Carol Salmons Falls, 68, of Gastonia died unexpectedly February 23, 2013. Carol was born in Winston-Salem to Catherine W. Salmons and the late Hugh G. Salmons.


Mrs. Falls was a graduate of Elkin High School, class of 1963, and Gaston Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in Gastonia. She was a wonderful caring nurse for many years in the Gastonia area.


Survivors in addition to her mother are, her Husband, Kenneth R. Falls, one son,


Kenny (Paige) Falls and one daughter, Amy (Brian) Summey and two grandchildren all of Gastonia. Two sisters, Cathy Fergen of Raleigh and Margaret Salmons of Elkin.


Funeral Services were held in Gastonia, February 27, 2013.


In lieu of flowers the family suggests that any memorials be made to Gaston Hospice, P.O. Box 3984, Gastonia, NC 28054.
