Mrs. Betty Orange, age 80 of Yadkinville passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Yadkin Nursing Center. Mrs. Orange was born in Wilkes County on November 11, 1932 to the late Dewey and Pearl Stone Combs. She was a member of West Elkin Pentecostal Holiness Church.


In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Orange; brothers, Bill Combs and Sam Combs.


Mrs. Orange is survived by her loving children, Billy Gwyn Orange and Theresa of Elkin, Charles Orange and wife Vickie of Hamptonville, Steve Orange and wife Lori of PA; brother, David Combs and wife Diane of Mooresville; grandchildren, Billy Orange, Lori Laws, Jake Orange, Chase Orange, Dedra Haire, Colby Orange, Logan Orange, Branden Orange, Dalton Orange, Katrina Orange; great granddaughter, Breanna Laws; and several loving nieces and nephews.


Funeral Services will be held at 11:00a.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Johnson Funeral Home Chapel led by Rev. Kenny Gunn. Burial will follow the service at Crestwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 6:00-8:00p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home.


Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made in the honor of Mrs. Orange to the charity of donor’s choice.
