The United Methodist Church Kids Club delivered food to the Sharing Center last Wednesday. Delivering the food was (from left) Melena, Trey, Graydon, Conner, and Kate is holding John Emory. Michael Sexton, the program coordinator at the Sharing Center, wanted to remind the community the center is still accepting the $30 for 30 years pledge. Any donations can be sent to The Sharing Center, P.O. Box 334, West Jefferson, NC 28694.

Youth groups from the West Jefferson First Baptist Church called “Mission Friends” and “Mission Kids” also delivered coats to the Sharing Center last Wednesday. Both groups toured the Sharing Center to learn more about giving back to the community. Those two groups are headed by Judy Current and Pam Weaver.
