The Jonesville Bojangles is looking to say thank you.

Starting in mid-January and changing every two weeks, owner Tim Gurganus is updating the sign in front of the store with the name of a local business that has helped make the restaurant a success. Beginning with 100.9 WIFM, and now G&B Energy, Bojangles is highlighting a different business.

Gurganus said there was no rhyme or reason to who would appear on the sign or when, and that the sign was not meant to be an ad campaign. He said that the sign was simply his way of saying thank you to the different people who had help make the restaurant so successful over the years.

The sign is simple and straightforward, with “Thanks G&B Energy. It’s Bo time!” currently displayed.

According to Gurganus, the Jonesville Bojangles has been in existence for 16 years, and thanks to the community the store has grown more profitable each year. He mentioned several companies that would probably make it onto the sign shortly, but that will have to remain a mystery until he decides to make the changes.

The sign, located under the Bojangles logo, overlooks Highway 67 in Jonesville, next to the entrance to South I-77.
