The Clingman Medical Center Board members announced its second annual scholarship opportunity for a local student/applicant showing an interest in the medical field.
“It is the desire of the members to offer this scholarship to a deserving candidate that has demonstrated his/her desire to pursue an education and/or training in a medical related field,” said Tony A. Cook of Lowe’s Companies, Inc. “The ideal candidate would have already shown a vested interest by studying toward and/or working in some medical related field.
The medical board is seeking a candidate that has shown a high moral and scholastic aptitude. They seek one that has shown by experiences an interest in helping his/her community and fellow man.
The deadline for this year’s application is March 15, 2013. Applications are available at all local high schools, community colleges, and The Clingman Medical Center in Ronda.
