Mrs. Beverly Karen Alexander Day, 61, of Woodleaf passed away on Friday, February 8, 2013 at Rowan Regional Medical Center surrounded by family and friends.


A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon, Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the Salisbury National Cemetery.


Rev. Jerry Miller will officiate.


The family will receive friends following the service at the VA Chapel in Salisbury.


Mrs. Day was born on October 4, 1951 at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin. Beverly graduated from Elkin High School and was employed at Freightliner PDI Center in Cleveland for 14 years. Beverly was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.


Beverly is survived by her husband of 42 years, Hoyle Day; three sons, James Day, Alan Day and Michael Day; four grandchildren, Justice Day, Madison Day, Ashlee Day and Charlie Day.


In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
