Ashe County Parks and Recreation has now started registering teams for the annual Industrial League Basketball Tournament.

Registration will continue now through Jan. 14 and registration forms can be picked up at the ACPR office at Family Central.

The entry fee this season will be $450 per team and a $25 late fee will be assessed to any team that has not paid the entry fee by the time the season begins.

Games will take place from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. and each team must be prepared to play any night of the week, Monday through Friday.

Each team will be guaranteed at least 14 games this season.

Teams are also responsible for their own uniforms. Each team member has to have matching jerseys or t-shirts with a number on the back. ACPR recommends that each team plan ahead to order their jerseys well in advance of the season starting.

All players on each team must be 16 or order to participate.

A Captain’s Meeting will take place on Monday, Jan. 14 at 6 p.m. at Family Central once all teams have registered.

If you have any questions or need more information, call Ashe County Parks and Recreation at (336) 982-6185.
