Amanda “Mandy” Carlisa Phillips and Evan Michael Musgrove, both of Wilmington, were married at 6 p.m. on Sept. 22 at Raffaldini Vineyards in Rhonda, North Carolina.
The bride is the daughter of George and Carla Phillips of East Bend. Her grandparents are Elizabeth Adams and the late Leo Adams and the late Howard and Lillian Phillips.
Mandy received a bachelor’s degree in biology from University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She is employed as a personal banker with Wells Fargo in Wilmington.
The groom is the son of Tena Owings of Aiken, South Carolina and Joe Musgrove of Wilmington. His grandparents are Dr. and Mrs. David Owings of North Augusta, South Carolina and Ms. Ollie Tolbert and the late Edward Musgrove of Belvedere, North Carolina. He is employed as an Agent with W.N. Ireland Agency.
The bride wore a designer grown by Pricilla’s of Boston Vineyard Collection and was escorted by her father. The matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Brandy Phillips Brandon of Winston-Salem. The bridesmaids were Elizabeth Phillips (sister-in-law) of Raleigh, Maddy Brandon (niece) of Winston-Salem, Erin Musgrove (groom’s sister) of Wilmington, Angel Hare of Winston-Salem, Jessica Peel of Charlotte. The flower girl was Olivia Brandon ( bride’s niece) of Winston-Salem.
The best man was the groom’s father, Joe Musgrove of Wilmington. The groomsmen were Shannon Phillips (bride’s brother) of Raleigh, Mark Brandon (brother-in-law) of Winston-Salem, Rob Campbell of Honolulu, HI., Taylor Clemmons of Charleston, SC., Josh Venters of Phoenix, AZ. The ring bearer was Samuel Brandon (bride’s nephew).
The guest register attendants were Candace Bertotti of Washington, DC., and Marty Driver of Yadkinville. The program attendants were Allison Owings and Emily Sam of North Augusta, SC. The prayer was provided by Dr. Alan Owings, the grooms’ uncle. The wedding director was Sandra Brown and wedding coordinator was Beth Charles.
Ceremony music was provided by Elegant Ensembles of Winston-Salem. Flowers were designed by Boonville Flower and Deco. Catering and the cake were provided by D & F Catering. Reception music was provided by Conner’s DJ of North Augusta, South Carolina.
A rehearsal dinner hosted by the groom’s father was held at 21 and Main in Elkin. A bridal luncheon, hosted by Brandy Brandon, was held at Sanders Ridge Winery in Boonville.
After a honeymoon trip to St. Lucia, the couple will live in Wilmington.
