PILOT MOUNTAIN — Mrs. Geraldine Joyce Jones, 77, of Pilot Mountain, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born on Dec. 10, 1934, in Stokes County to the late Thomas and Alta Joyce. Mrs. Jones is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Danny Tilley of Winston-Salem, Jinger and Scott Sellinger of Tallahassee, Fla., and Jo Jo Jones and Jerry Jessup of Pilot Mountain; grandchildren, Brian Burdge of Winston-Salem, Ashley and Michael Webb of Winston-Salem, Andrew Sellinger and Daniel Sellinger, both of Tallahassee, Jonathan Jessup of Wilmington and Jennifer Sebranek of Cincinnati, Ohio; brother, Bill Joyce of Rural Hall; sister, Jewell Bowman of Westfield; and special friends, Dennis, Joanne and Derrick Manuel. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Austin Jones; and her parents. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Christian Community Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Vaden officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pilot Mountain Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 743, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041; Victory Junction Gang Camp, 4500 Adam’s Way Randleman, NC 27317; or to the donor’s choice.
