•8 a.m.-5 p.m.-“The Civil War in the Yadkin Valley” is the theme for the 2012 Yadkin Valley History and Genealogy Fair and Conference. It will be at the Iredell County Agricultural Resource Center, 444 Bristol Road, Statesville, NC 28677. The purpose of the event is to collect new, unpublished information on what our Yadkin Valley ancestors did during the Civil War in the fifteen counties of the Yadkin Valley. Pre-Registration is $15 and $20 at the door. It includes lunch, 2012 membership in the Yadkin Valley Historical Association, and an exhibit table, while they last.
